Terry's and my cabin at Dana and John's. We were taking a break near their road yesterday late afternoon, and Dana drove up, and invited us to spend the night with them. Sam biked up, and he spend the night too! Dana and John drove us into town, and treated us to dinner in Sheridan. Wonderful evening, with awesome people. Random hospitality rules! |

29. It would have been a 95 mile day, but 17 miles before Gillette, went up to a house with the lights on, to ask if we could set up our tent in their yard. They put us up in a spare room in their house. Darrell and Becky. Darrell, retired was quite a hunter and we saw his trophy room with numerous taxidermied animals on the walls. 82 miles. Total 1464.1. Headwinds. We pulled up to the house after 9 PM in the dark. This was the first time we have gone up to a stranger's house. This was fantastic! We were bushed on arrival.
