Day 21 (5/30/12) to West Yellowstone, Montana

Terry bought a magazine the day before, and is decreasing the weight on his bike by burning the sections he doesn't want to carry.  !!!!

Mari, on way to Yellowstone.
Entering Yellowstone via Hwy 191.  The road dips into Yellowstone, and then goes back out again.

We paralleled the Gallatin River for most of the day.

Warning

Right after this photo was taken, there were bison that wandered off from the left. A little nerve wracking. They are big.
Daily: 53.3 miles. Total: 1066.7 miles. Sunny, uphill, and headwinds. We were 'shot' when reaching town. We had a KOA cabin reserved for West Yellowstone, but then learned this KOA was an additional 5 miles beyond the town, so got a motel in town. Elevation: 6649 ft. We saw a coyote, elk with fawn, and a bison, all close to the road.
