Day 26 6/4/12 to Graybull, Wyoming

Our camp at the Cody RV Park.  Mari's clothes drying.

Downtown Cody, Wyoming.  Three deer ran right in front of Terry on the main street.  He had to brake in order not to hit them.

There's not a lot of water east of Cody, Wyoming.

Mari and Andy, the Cody cyclist.  We met up with him a couple of times that day as we biked east from Cody. He lives in the oldest building in Cody.  He said it's the first thing that is pointed out on the Cody bus tour.

This is how Mari dries her clothes while biking--one at a time underneath the bungee cords.
The big town of Emblem.  It had about three houses.
Curtis and Terry.  Curtis saw us biking about five miles out of Greybull.  Winds were wild, things were crashing, and we were having trouble manipulating the bikes.  Curtis stopped and asked if we wanted a ride into town. Yes please.  He drove us to the KOA where we could get a cabin, instead of pitch our tent.  Look at the trees blowing.  Limbs were down, and power was out for a 30 mile stretch.  We called it a day, and didn't keep riding the 10 more miles or so to Shell, which is where we had planned to start our climb of Granite Pass the next day.
Daily: 55.7 miles. headwinds all day. Severe wind gusts , got a ride the last 5 miles into town, during the storm.  Stayed at Graybull KOA instead of Shell 16.5 miles closer to Granite pass,so a longer day on 6/5.  Windstorm knocked the power out for the entire town.  Total: 1268.3 miles
