Starting out from Old Faithful Snow Lodge |
A little hot bubbing action. Mari stuck her finger in it, and it was hot. Fortunately it wasn't acid, like some pots, and her finger never fell off. |
That's Mari's little finger sticking out the end of the cycling glove. Her finger is in a hot spring that was by the side of the road as we left the Old Faithful area. The hot spring is really hot. There's a reason it's called a hot spring.

Action shot--love that shadow. |

Warming up, put on the capris. |

Terry coming up towards the first of the two Continental Divides of the day. |
Cooled off in the rain by the first Continental Divide of the day. Last year it was snowing when we came over these two passes. |

Terry taking a break in the welcome sunshine. Had been cold and wet up on the pass. |

Terry riding through the 1988 burn area. |
We came across lots of cars and people--many more than in this photo. People had seen two bears in the woods to the left. No bears left to see when we biked by--thank goodness. |
Lake Yellowstone Hotel, where we checked in for our little cabin. Last year when we arrived here in May, we were snow covered, and it was still snowing after seven hours of biking in the snow. |
