| Mitchell campground. Yesterday was 100 degrees. This cabin was cool, and there was a big storm during the night. We would have been soaked in the tent. |

| We went swimming in the camp pool yesterday afternoon when we arrived in the 100 degree heat. We practically rode our bikes straight in the pool without getting off to change clothes. |

| The Mitchell Corn Palace changes its exterior decoration annually. Donations are used to pay for the corn and plants, and to pay workers. These young guys are employed to help get the decorations ready. |
