Day 4 (5/13/12) to N. Bonneville, Washington L&C RV Park

Mari and Terry leaving home, with a violin on top of Mari's bike.

Mari had biked to church with all of her cross country touring gear, plus a violin. The violin was only to be played at church, and wasn't coming on the cross country trip!

Frank, Mari's fearless violin teacher who keeps letting her start and stop lessons and never plugs his ears when she plays.
Pastor Tom Tate conducting a blessing and a sending forth for Mari and Terry before they rode out from the church for the rest of the cross country bike trip.

Terry and Mari getting ready to bike away from church. Next stop, the Atlantic Ocean.

Another Erik tree!  Erik phoned right about the time we were taking a break not far from this tree. Happy Mother's Day to hear from Erik and be by an Erik Tree at the same time.

Mt. Hood, from the Washington side.

Terry soaking his shirt in a cold fountain.  Temp was in the 90s.
