Day 12 (5/21/12) to Lowell, Idaho

Thunder and black sky. Gear on back wrapped in garbage bags, anticipating rain.
Looks like rain!
Terry tries out a car.

Mari's ready to give up the bike and take this car instead.

The word on the street is that this is a canola field.

Mother's Day Sale!  What every mother wants is some gas.

I wanna spend the night in this house!

Mari's pretty thrilled about all the time it takes to put on and take off rain gear, when it starts and stops raining every ten minutes.
Idaho keeps its nice green look due to this rain.

Terry's going to Missoula.  Fun to see a sign for it!

Mari in rain gear, surrounded by water. Why is she smiling, though?

Daily: 78.3 miles. Total: 621.9 miles. Warm. We woke up an hour early, due to an error on time zone change. We started cycling at 5:55 am, so stores and restaurants were not open yet. A remote area, we found a restaurant/bakery after 45 miles in Kooskai; we were very hungry and exhausted. A 13 hour day cycling, including stops.
